The Amerinds have a legend about the Forge of Souls. They say that a man who enters the Forge will be changed, or will not return to the world of men.
When Gunnery Sergeant Kevin DeShane, and the ex-slaver Jerome Roberts, enters the Forge of Souls in their quest to rescue their man in Reno they will find out that the Amerind legend is true. Either they will change, or they will never be seen again.
