So what you guys and girls been reading?

Me I've just finished Terminator Dreams by Aaron Allston., split between the eve of Judgement Day and 30 years after T3 it centers around a new character Danny Avila. Rather than having a terminator travel back in time the plot uses a connection via dreaming to link young Danny and his older self along with a prototype Terminator. While there's a few discrepancies between what's been established in the other Terminator films and spin off books it's still a good read and has some nice images of survival in the Post Apocalypse.

I don't know if it's due to growing up with Doctor Who, and the Daleks but the prototype terminator on tracks in T3 seemed more threatening than the Skeletal terminators but the description of the terminator 'Scowl' in this book had me thinking of No.5 running rampage with a chaingun. :bl

Still it's one worth picking up if you see it in the library.

Req, sounds like a good one. Will have to pick it up. Just the other day I picked up Prometheus by William R Forstchen, and that is what I am currently reading.

Qucik synopsis is that man has colonised the solar system and Mars has revolted against Earth domination, and the other colonies are wondering whether or not to join the revolt, then, you guessed it, some alien bad guys decide now is the time to conquer humanity. So once again we band together to try and stop the menace from the stars but it is not enough. That is about as far as I have gotten. Real good read so far. :AH

By attempting to destroy the morale of the Marines, the Darkman had restored it to full vigor. Dia De La Muerto had failed in its objectives."
