The World of The Gunny » Weapon List
Image Sort Name Sort Availability (California) Sort Availability (Nevada) Sort Availability (Iowa) Description
.223 Pistol Available Limited Available The .223 pistol is actually not a pistol, but a modified .223 rifle. Even though this weapon has been copied over and over, every single copy is a unique piece of work.
.44 Magnum Revolver Available Available Available The .44 Magnum Revolver has been the most powerful handgun of the world for a long time during the 21st century and still many people trust in it. It might not be the most powerful gun anymore, but it still is quite efficient if you know how to use it.
AR-112 5.56mm Assault Rifle Available Common Available The AR-112 was out of use in the US Army around the time of the war, but still quite common due to the immense mass production for the National Guard and Militia.
Assorted Knives V. Common V. Common V. Common There were dozens and dozens of miscellaneous knives in use during the 21st century for any possible occasion or job - medical operations, camping, even design and arts. Due to human nature all of these knives and blades found combat use in the wasteland.
Avenger Minigun V. Rare V. Rare V. Rare During the middle 2070s the Rockwell CZ53 was slightly outdated and aging. The Avenger Minigun was thought of as replacement for the CZ53, but had just gone gold at the time the war escalated. However the project was quite a success and the Avenger has many advantages over the CZ53 despite the increased weight.
Louisville Slugger Common Common Limited Baseball bats usually are made of either very light metal alloys or various kinds of hardwood. In any case they can cause severe damage to whatever you hit with them.
Baton Rare Limited Common Batons were mostly used by the police forces and the military until 2077. Since the time the bombs dropped batons have become less and less common and are now mostly used by slavers and very few organized police forces.
BB Weapons Limited Limited Rare BB weapons fire small metal balls, propelled by compressed air. While they might not have the same impact as normal rifles or pistols, BB guns can still do severe damage to unprotected targets and don't require a silencer to be silent.
Beat Co. "Big Frigger" Power Fist Available Available Available Whoever created this fella was plainly insane. The power fist is probably one of the most deadly weapons in 'unarmed' combat - a small energy cell supplies the Big Frigger with enough power to turn your enemy into a bloody something. Batteries not included.
Beat Co. "Big Frigger" Power Fist MkII Rare Rare Rare As if the original power fist hadn't been sick enough, Beat Co. industries released a Mark II version of it in the early 2070s. It not only has improved hydraulics, but also stylish spikes which make the weapon even more deadly.
Boxing Gloves Limited Limited Rare For obvious reasons boxing gloves were never really common as melee weapons. While they might be better than fighting bare handed, it takes way too long to put them on properly and are absolutely ineffective as they never were designed to kill.
Brass Knuckles V. Common Common V. Common Brass knuckles are the favorite weapon of most thugs and are perfect for just beating someone up. However this kind of weapons does little damage to anything armored.
Cattle Prod Available Available Limited The most common cattle prod in the 2070s was the Farmer's Best Friend model produced by Wattz Electronics. Cattle prods in general tend to be quite painful and probably even deadly if not used properly. Nowadays few people care about this fact.
Colt 6520 10mm Auto loading Pistol V. Common V. Common V. Common The 6520 pistol is one of the most successful handguns produced until 2077. It uses the common 10mm ammunition.
Colt Rangemaster Semi-Automatic Rifle Common Common Common The Rangemaster was the hunting rifle of the 2060s. It uses the powerful .223 ammunition and was in the top 10 of the rifles with the highest muzzle velocity by 2062.
Combat Knives Common Common Common One of the most common combat knives used by the US Army during the Great War was the Stallion, manufactured by SharpWit, Inc. Combat knives have a special edge designed to cut people and/or things with ease.
Crowbar Common Common Common Crowbars and other large tools have been used as melee weapons in many occasions through the ages, however their inefficiency and lack of style seems to be reason enough not to use them unless necessary.
Custom Weapons V. Common V. Common V. Common Most custom weapons were manufactured after the great war and consist of various parts and bits of scrap metal and damaged weapons or machines. Custom weapons range from slightly modified handguns to handcrafted machineguns.
Desert Eagle .44 Common Available Common The Desert Eagle is one of the cult weapons of the late 20th century. There might be more effective and probably even prettier weapons, but true handgun fans still prefer the Desert Eagle.
Flambé 450 model Flamethrower (Varmiter variation) V. Rare Rare V. Rare The Flambé 450 was probably the most successful flamethrower in history, but rarely used inside the country during the Great War.
Flash Grenades Available Available Available Flash grenades, better known as "Flashbangs", were widely used in the 21st century. The purpose of this kind of grenades is not to harm, but to blind and disable the target. Upon activation this grenade emits a short white flash with a deafening noise, which instantly paralyzes the enemy.
Fragmentation Grenades Common Common Common In nearly all modern wars dozens of different types of frag grenades were involved. After the Great War huge amounts of them were still stored in the military camps and soon spread among the public.
Gauss Weapons V. Rare V. Rare V. Rare The most common gauss weapons were the M72 Gauss Rifle and PPK12 Gauss Pistol. However both weapons were just out of the development stage and produced in Germany, so both - the weapons and the ammunition - were an issue in their field use.
Glock 86 Plasma Pistol Limited Limited Limited The plasma pistol designed by Gaston Glock AI, an Austrian weapons manufacturer, was one of the first plasma based energy weapons. Unlike laser weapons, plasma weapons fire short bursts of ultra heated matter, so called plasma. The weapon is very energy consuming, but also very effective.
Grenade Launchers Rare Rare Rare Unlike grenades, grenade launchers should never be used indoors due to their low accuracy. Still - grenade launchers not only make you look cool, but also do a lot of damage.
H&K L30 Gatling Laser Not Available Not Available Not Available The L30 gatling laser was one of the many prototypes funded by the US government during the late 2070s. The goal was to produce a lethal combination of the common minigun and the high end prototype laser rifle - it was quite a success, but the weapon tended to overheat.
H&K MP9 Submachine gun (10mm variant) Common Common Common The 10mm variant of the common MP9 Submachine gun (better known as "10mm SMG") was released only a few years before the Great War. Most police forces carried this weapon as a sidearm.
Incendiary Grenades Limited Limited Limited Just like frag grenades, phosphorous grenades were being used a lot in some areas during the Great War. Incendiary grenades are basically the military's answer to the common Molotov Cocktail and works almost the same way.
Lead Pipe V. Common V. Common V. Common In the wasteland people tend to use literally everything as a weapon - pipes, axe handles, even metal crosses have been shaped into stabbing or hitting utilities. If mankind is good at something, then that is trying to find new and better ways of killing each other.
M3A1 "Grease Gun" Rare V. Rare Rare Some weapons were still being manufactured after they were hopelessly outdated - just like the "Grease Gun". In fact the M3A1 was still being produced until somewhere in the 2050s, however only collectors were interested in it anymore by then.
